Originally developed for the automotive industry, GMSL (Gigabit Multimedia Serial Link) technology is now also expanding to applications in the fields of robotics, precision agriculture, smart cities and advanced healthcare systems. The Arducam RapidRange G2 Kit maximizes the capabilities of GMSL2, providing an ideal solution for long-distance imaging, helping to increase efficiency and innovation in a variety of industrial fields. The 8MP GMSL2 Camera Expansion Kit for NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano / Orin NX enables imaging up to 15 meters away without loss of image quality. The system is based on ADI’s advanced SerDes technology, which provides high bandwidth and extremely low latency. The system is equipped with an 8-megapixel SONY IMX219 sensor, which provides high image quality, simple installation and signal transmission with only one cable. In addition, there is also support for GMSL1 for convenient adaptation and easy upgrade of existing systems.
