Overall, I just wanted more from this. I kept thinking in my head the whole time so many better ideas this movie could have done and it just doesn’t do anything. Items, ideas and objects have such strong emotional attachments to them. I understand this, however the movie never leads us to have the same attachment to it that the characters have for this house. The premise of it is pretty wonderful in all honesty, but it feels like it should be a short film or story that’s extended to 2 hours. There’s literally a scene where his ringtone is one of his songs. I don’t know something about him in this movie rubbed me the wrong way. Overall, it’s completely watchable and honestly worth watching if you want just a charming rom com.
