I think my only issues with All I need is Taco Bell and my dog Grinch christmas shirt is that I want more of it, so that’s not a bad thing at all. Primal is the real deal and I think this one will stay with me for a while. I just watched the first episode of Primal on Adult Swim and it’s my new favorite thing. I am just ecstatic about the next new episodes coming out. This show was incredible. Not a word of dialogue is said but the range of human emotion and drama is felt within every single scene. The animation is stellar and the action is some of the best I’ve seen in animation. Its visual storytelling is also masterfully crafted as well. It’s just masterful- I just hope the rest of this short series is as fantastic as this first episode. I’ve been wanting to watch Infinity Train for months now. If you guys have followed me for a while, you might know that Over the Garden Wall is my single favorite show of all time. It’s a masterpiece, I’ve written a lot about it and I will continue to. I really appreciate Cartoon network and their ambitions to pick up really creative and zany projects and give them a platform. I guess All I need is Taco Bell and my dog Grinch christmas shirt has Teen Titans Go for their cash cow and if that helps us get more Infinity Trains and Over the Garden Walls then by golly collect all that dough. Infinity Train is wonderful. It takes a wholly unique concept and does quite a lot with it. This series is a lot like Snowpiercer but a lot more fun. The story stars Tulip, a 13 year old girl getting over the divorce of her parents. After not being able to go to a camp she wants to, she is taken away by an infinity train and tries to find a way to escape. First off, the best thing about this show are its terrific characters. Tulip, One and Atticus are three of the best characters in cartoons recently. From the first few moments of their introductions the show is able to make you fall in love with them and care for their relationships. This is essential to making this show work in particular. No matter how convoluted and cerebral the plot of this show becomes the characters still matters and that is the route to making you feel involved. This is a sign that the writers did a terrific job on characterizations. The world building is wonderful as well. The way this train works and how it functions is so brilliantly thought up. The way this world operates is very unique and you can never really predict what type of cart they will go to next. The show is consistently hilarious. One in particular gets all the best lines. In like most of the incredible cartoons this last decade, this show has incredible wit and perfect timing. The show also looks incredible. Amazing detail in all of its artistry in bringing this train to life. Specifically, the background work in this is just next level. The plot is cool and it makes for a really compelling journey of growth for Tulips.
